Cindy Sherman’s private view

Last night saw Cindy Sherman's long-awaited return to London's contemporary art scene with the launch of her new photographic exhibition at the Spruth Magers gallery, Grafton Street. An American artist with world-class credentials, Sherman's private view and after-party dinner at Bellamy's Bruton Place drew some of the capital's trendiest inhabitants, including Duran Duran keyboardist Nick Rhodes (above with Virginia Damsta) fashion designers Giles Deacon and Hussein Chalayan, photographer Juergen Teller and magazine editor Katie Grand. ·
