Dog survives after lead gets caught in lift
Hapless pet owner gives himself and his dog a fright as his blunder is caught on CCTV (with video)
AS WELL as apparently fighting crime, and keeping an eye on us night and day, CCTV cameras have the irritating ability to immortalise moments we’d really rather forget.
That’s just what happened to this chap when he walked into a lift with his dog on a lead, but failed to make sure it had actually followed him through the doors - it hadn’t.
The video captures the man’s complete panic when he realises his mistake after the doors have closed and the lift takes off.
The footage then switches to a camera outside the lift to take a look at what happened from the dog’s point of view. Fear not, animal lovers, there’s a happy, if slightly bumpy, ending.
