Lantern Festival: fun with molten metal

A blacksmith throws molten metal against a cold wall to create sparks in celebration of the Lantern Festival which traditionally marks the end of the Lunar New Year celebrations.  For over 300 years, the village of Nuanquan in China's Hebei has maintained the tradition which they considered a cheaper alternative to buying fireworks during the Lantern Festival.
