A string of tornadoes that began on April 14 in Oklahoma has killed at least 45 people, injured several hundreds and caused millions of dollars in damage. The weather system, which spawned over a hundred separate tornadoes, travelled east over the weekend through Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina and Virginia.
