Siege of Abidjan

Alassane Ouattara supporters prepare to attack Laurent Gbagbo's presidential palace in the Ivory Coast's commercial capital, Abidjan. The country has been sliding into civil war since an election last November which was internationally held to be rigged in Gbagbo's favour. The war has now reached its final stage, with many saying Gbagbo has only a few hours left in power.
