People evacuate the village of Kaliurang in Sleman after nearby Mount Merapi started to erupt. At least 32 people are dead after hot ash spewed from the volcano, one of Indonesia's most active. An official in Sleman told AP that many villages south of the crater are "death zones". "There's no life there. The trees, farms, houses are scorched. Everything is covered in heavy gray ash," he said
