A Hungarian soldier in a chemical protective suit cleans a street in Devecser, 100 miles south of Budapest after the village was submerged by toxic red sludge from a local aluminium plant. Four people died and at least 120 people were injured, some with chemical burns, after the industrial accident. Authorities say the toxic sludge has now reached the River Danube.
