Five dog breeds euthanised most often

1. STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIERS top the list by some margin with 1,636 dogs euthanised out of a total 2,815 killed in 2009. The list reflects the proportion of animals taken in by the famous London animal shelter. The vast majority - 1,931 - were healthy dogs.
