Sport in the Noughties
In April 2001 Tiger Woods became the first person to hold all four of golf's major titles when he won the Masters. The feat became known as the Tiger Slam. By the time his reputation unravelled at the end of 2009 because of his extramarital affairs, and he quit the sport indefinitely, he had won 14 majors.
