Nine’s starry cast

Nine's leading man Daniel Day-Lewis at the film's London premiere. Day-Lewis plays Italian film director Guido Contini who juggles the demands of the seven women in his life: his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his film star muse (Nicole Kidman), his confidante Lilli (Judi Dench), an American fashion journalist (Hudson), his mother (Sophia Loren) and the prostitute who first introduced him to sex (singer Fergie).
