Chinese farmers in Hebei pick through the wreckage of their collapsed homes. Prime Minister Wen Jiabao visited the northern province yesterday after six people were killed, including three children crushed to death in a school. The latter incident is an uncomfortable subject for Jiabao, after he promised to address the poor build quality of schools in the wake of last year's devastating Sichuan earthquake.
