Rampage at Fort Hood

Army specialists wait to enter the Fort Hood military base in Texas, where US Major Nidal Malik Hasan opened fire on his fellow soldiers. It is not yet clear what motivated him, although some reports said the US-born Muslim was unhappy about being sent to Iraq or Afghanistan. Eleven victims were initially reported dead, but two of the injured later died, bringing the death toll to 13.
