Rampage at Fort Hood
Base commander Lieutenant-General Bob Cone speaks to journalists after the shooting spree at Fort Hood, one of the largest military bases in the world. Cone revealed that Hasan, who was shot four times, was not dead - as first reported - but in a stable condition in custody. "His death is not imminent," Cone added. Asked whether the shootings were a terrorist act, he said: "I couldn't rule that out but I'm telling you that right now, the evidence does not suggest that."
