Lady Penelope rides again

Penelope Cruz and Matt Damon in the 2000 film 'All the Pretty Horses', directed by Billy Bob Thornton and typically described as a poor adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's bestselling novel. There were reports of an off-screen romance between Cruz and Damon. She never confirmed it – and a year later began a relationship with Tom Cruise, when she was cast opposite him in 'Vanilla Sky'. Film producer Kevin Loader, who worked with Cruz on 'Captain Corelli's Mandolin', said: "She makes a profound impact on all the men she works with – let's put it like that."
