Two men in suits persuaded security guards to let them into the exclusive shop in New Bond Street on August 6 before drawing handguns and snatching 43 pieces of jewellery including diamond earrings, a gold and platinum diamond rings and watches. They briefly took a staff member hostage and fired handguns into the air as they made their escape through Belgravia and Mayfair in at least three different vehicles. The same jeweller's was also targeted in 2003 when Serbian criminals stole £23m worth of gems.
WANTED: A gang of at least five including getaway drivers are being sought.
