Jim Pierce – The only tennis parent in history to have had a law invoked by the Women's Tennis Association to prohibit behaviour such as his. He once called out "Mary, kill the bitch" while his daughter Mary Pierce was competing in a junior tournament in 1987, and he punched a spectator in the face during the 1993 French Open. After he was banned from tour matches by the WTA, Mary dropped him as her coach and took out a restraining order.
