Fargo flooded

The Red River in North Dakota, near Fargo, the city made famous by the Coen Brothers' movie of the same name. With the forecast indicating that water levels will continue to rise until Saturday, weather expert Pat Slattery said that parts of the river which are now 100 yards wide "might turn into between a mile and a mile-and-a-half".
Parts of the American Midwest have been declared a federal disaster area
