Grand Prix quick six
For a few seconds last November Felipe Massa thought he had been crowned world champion - only for Lewis Hamilton to dash the cup from his lips. That experience will provide the Ferrari driver with all the motivation he needs this time round. If the 27-year-old Brazilian shows more fight when the chips he could well take the title - particularly as the Ferrari car is looking good.
When Honda pulled out of Formula 1 in December Jenson Button looked all washed up. Now some people are tipping him for the title. The 29-year-old Brit's career has been resurrected by Russ Brawn, who stepped in to save the Honda team, now renamed Brawn GP. There were low expectations for new outfit until testing began and jaws hit the floor as Brawn's drivers disappeared over the horizon. Much depends on the outcome of a wrangle over the legality of the car and it's diffuser.
