Pirates of Somalia

Somali pirates alongside the hijacked Faina in late September. The captured Ukrainian ship had a cargo of 33 Soviet-era tanks bound for Sudan for which the band of about 50 pirates originally demanded a ransom of $20m. The Faina is still in the hands of its captors.
