Paul Newman's life

Newman with Robert Redford in the 1969 film 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid'. Redford, who named his Montana film festival after his role in the film, remained a friend. He said after Newman's death on Friday: "There is a point where feelings go beyond words. I have lost a real friend. My life - and this country - is better for his being in it."
