Dakar rallies to save the whales

Fishermen led efforts to save more than 100 whales stranded on a Yoff-Thangor beach in the Sengalese capital Dakar. The rescuers worked all night to drag around 80 of the long-finned pilot whales back into the sea with ropes attached to their dug-out canoes.
