North Korea's supreme leader Kim Jong-Il visits the Rangrim county township cooperative farm in Jagang Province in 1999. Kim died on December 17 while he was on a train journey to give "field guidance" to workers, but the news was released by the state's KCNA news agency only this morning. Officials said he died of a heart attack brought on by physical and mental over-work.
