Wildlife Photographer of the Year - overall winner
The chaotic underwater world of emperor penguins at the edge of the Ross Sea, Antarctica. This was the image that secured Paul Nicklen the overall title of Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year. The winners of 18 wildlife photograph categories were announced last night at the Natural History Museum in London.
