GAZA, WEDNESDAY: Palestinians extinguish fire from the car of Ahmed al-Jabari, Hamas’s military mastermind. The Israel Defence Forces said its assassination of al-Jabari was “the start of a broader operation”. Air strikes on Gaza have killed at least 21 Palestinians. Three Israelis were killed by a rocket on Thursday.
