Typhoon Bopha kills hundreds in the Philippines - pictures

Residents use a makeshift stretcher to carry the dead body of a boy as they cross a destroyed highway in the village of Andap, New Bataan town, in the Philippines' Compostela Valley today. More than 270 people are dead after Typhoon Bopha swept through the southern Philippines. Officials fear the death toll could rise further as rescuers reach isolated areas cut off by landslides and floods.
