Eyewitness Angela Henderson told the BBC she was standing on the platform on Vauxhall station when the dramatic scene unfolded. "I heard a massive crash and saw a shudder. A huge cylindrical object - which must have been part of the crane - fell to the ground. There was a brief eerie silence before the bang of the helicopter hitting the ground."
