Sony World Photography Awards - pictures

Hong Kong photographer Gilbert Yu is one of ten winners of the Open category of the 2013 Sony World Photography Awards announced yesterday. His photograph, Fire Dragon of "Fung Shun" (above), won the Arts and Culture section of the awards. It will be displayed with the other winning images (see following pages) at Somerset House, London, WC2 from 26 April. Almost 55,000 amateur photographers entered the competition.
