Helping remove the obstacles to quality education in Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, South Africa and Uganda

LAST UPDATED AT 07:51 ON Fri 9 Dec 2011

Today, thanks to the increase in the availability of free primary education, more children are attending school in many African countries, but few are receiving the quality of education that will make a difference to their lives. Link Community Development works at all levels of the education system to identify and remove the obstacles to quality education in Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, South Africa and Uganda. We know from experience that good schools are a realistic goal. We know how to achieve it, working long term with parents, teachers and government. In eight years we helped move the schools in Masindi District, Uganda, from 63rd to 3rd in the results tables. You can help us to improve more schools by sponsoring a school.
