The UK's first person-to-person microloan charity

LAST UPDATED AT 10:31 ON Fri 15 Feb 2013

Deki is the UK's first person-to-person microloan charity, founded in 2008. At you can lend as little as £10 direct to an entrepreneur in the developing world. They then invest the money into a small business and start working their way out of poverty. The small sums of money, combined with basic business training and the commitment of our entrepreneurs, can transform lives and whole communities. Deki currently supports entrepreneurs in Togo, Malawi and Nepal. Deki passes on 100% of your loan to your chosen entrepreneur. We charge no fees or interest on the loans, and the charity runs solely on donations. Go online now to make a loan or to give someone else a fun gift of giving by buying a Deki Gift Voucher.
