Educating and assisting those at risk of Tuberculosis

Every day more than 23,000 people across the world fall ill with Tuberculosis (TB) and 3,500 people die from it. The debilitating effects of the disease stop people working, and their deaths leave children orphaned.

TB is a treatable disease. However, deep-rooted stigma, lack of awareness, limited access to healthcare and a rise in antibiotic-resistant TB mean people continue to catch it, spread it and, in developing countries, die from it.
