Tiger: Police say it’s over, but a waitress disagrees

Tiger Woods; Jaimee Grubbs

Cocktail waitress and reality TV star Jaimee Grubbs claims affair with Tiger Woods

Tigergate just got nastier. As Rachel Uchitel, the woman accused by the National Enquirer of having an affair with Tiger Woods continues to refute the allegation - even offering to take a lie detector test - another young woman, Jaimee Grubbs, is boasting that she has had 20 sexual encounters with the billionaire golfer over the past two-and-a-half years.

Grubbs, 24, told US Weekly magazine that she first slept with Woods when they met at a hotel in San Diego, where she works as a cocktail waitress."He just grabbed and kissed me and we started taking our clothes off and had sex," she told the magazine.

Since then, she claims, they have continued to meet and she has an answerphone recording - which US Weekly has threatened to post online today - and 300 text messages to prove it.

These, claims Grubbs, include one sent in September which read: "I will wear you out soon. You just need some attention from me" and another sent only three days before Woods's Friday morning car crash, when he supposedly warned Grubbs that his wife had examined his mobile phone and might call her.

"We never talked about golf," said Grubbs. "Sometimes we talked about his stressful life. He told me his life was overwhelming."

Grubbs, it turns out, is also a former reality TV contestant, raising the possibility - after last week's infamous gate-crashing scene at the White House by the wannabe reality TV couple, Michaele and Tareq Salahi - that Grubbs is simply an attention-seeker.

The show she appeared on was Tool Academy, the VH1 cable channel programme in which "bad boyfriends" get an education in etiquette.

According to the Radar gossip site, Grubbs told fellow participants on the show a year ago that she was having an affair with Tiger Woods and wanted everyone to know. She even talked about Woods while the cameras were rolling, but her allegations were edited out.

Meanwhile, the Florida Highway Patrol says it has completed its investigation into Woods's car accident last Friday morning and will not be bringing any criminal charges.

A spokesman said that despite the speculation that Tiger's wife Elin Nordegren attacked him over an alleged affair, there had been no claims of domestic abuse and there was insufficient evidence to seek a court order to examine the golfer's medical records.

However, Woods has been fined $164 and charged with careless driving - something he is rarely guilty of during the day job. ·
