The art world descended on Regent's Park last night for the launch of its annual hurrah, the Frieze Art Fair 2008. Industry stalwarts like Charles Saatchi mingled with the new generation (including Dasha Zhukova, centre, with Olympia Scarry, left, and Mollie Dent-Brocklehurst, right) and a host of celebrity enthusiasts such as teen-actress Emma Watson, singer Lily Allen and film director Sofia Coppola.
Somewhat unseasonable perhaps but the Serpentine Gallery's annual Summer Party took place in the Gehry Pavilion, Kensington Gardens last night. Co-hosted by the Centre for Contemporary Culture Moscow, the event saw the fledgling gallery's founder (and Roman Abramovich's girlfriend) Dasha Zhukova in attendance, along with art-world chums such as Damien Hirst and his wife Maia Norman (right) and a host of lovely ladies including supermodel Naomi Campbell (left) and actress Rosamund Pike.
