One in five Brits couldn’t live without their iPhone
New survey about UK’s most desired gadgets shows Apple mobile way ahead of Blackberry
A warning to all those people infuriated with friends are glued 24/7 to their iPhones: the love affair could be permanent, according to a new survey.
'iBores' have become the scourge of the nation ever since Apple launched their revolutionary mobile in 2007, but research from VoucherCodes.co.uk suggests they're not going away any time soon: almost one in five respondents said they could not live without their iPhone.
The device headed a list of the UK's most desirable gadgets, created after surveying 3,000 people earlier this year. Behind Apple's innovation in the list of top five devices the nation 'couldn't live without' were GHD hair straighteners, Sky HD, electric toothbrushes and Dyson cleaners.
The iPhone polled considerably better than its biggest rival, the Blackberry. Only seven per cent of respondents said they couldn't live without their RIM device, suggesting that the UK's addiction to 'Crackberry' doesn't even begin to approach the love felt for Apple's star product. ·
