Kate Moss breaks silence to read 50 Shades of Grey - video
Supermodel raises £200,000 from Radio 1 listeners by reading out saucy novel on air
KATE MOSS rarely speaks to the media. But the supermodel broke her silence this morning to raise £200,000 for Comic Relief by reading an extract from steamy novel Fifty Shades Of Grey live on Radio 1's breakfast show.
Presenter Nick Grimshaw joked that the supermodel had broken her 25-year "sponsored silence" before the segment, dubbed 50 Shades of Kate and captured on video (below).
Thirty-nine-year-old Moss joked "There's a reason I don't talk!" before putting on her best "saucy voice". As the Daily Telegraph observes, the supermodel had no reason to worry - she "even managed to make ‘slipping out of my black flats' sound sexy".
