A POLITE grizzly bear is making waves on the internet after being caught on camera appearing to greet a passer-by at an animal sanctuary.
In the video (below), a girl waves to the crouching bear from a car. The bear reacts by sitting on its bottom, raising its right forepaw and waving back.
The footage was apparently recorded at the Olympic Game Farm in Washington state in the US. The animal sanctuary takes in former performing animals, which may explain the grizzly bear’s enthusiastic wave.
