Trump in crazed Twitter tirade as Obama wins second term

Donald Trump

Furious businessman calls for a revolution in America as the internet chuckles

BARACK OBAMA'S victory in the US election has been hard for many conservatives to swallow, and few have been more outspoken than the incandescent Donald Trump.

As it became apparent that the incumbent was heading for a second term in the White House, ‘The Donald’ embarked on a furious Twitter tirade, at one point even calling for Americans to rise up and start a revolution.

Although the businessman, a long standing Obama opponent who has made a series of bizarre interventions in the election race, later deleted some of the more explosive comments, they had already been screen-grabbed by amused onlookers and are now doing the rounds on the internet.

Among Trump’s more choice exhortations were demands for protests in the capital. "We can't let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!" he cried.

"Let’s fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us," he added soon afterwards.

"This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!" raged The Donald. "Our nation is a once great nation divided!"

His hysterical remarks, and those of other furious Republicans, were gleefully seized upon by Democrats. And whatever the truth of Trump's assertion that the world is laughing at the US, there are plenty of people laughing at him today.

New York magazine described the reality TV star as "the world's most celebrated village idiot" and revelled in his "wonderfully insane tirade" before crowning him "most unhinged conservative" of the evening.

Salon.com ranked him the "most churlish" Republican supporter of the night while NBC's Brian Williams was moved to comment that he had "driven well past the last exit to relevance and veered into something closer to irresponsible".

The Atlantic Wire website agreed that while Trump was, indeed, an "awful, self-promoting blowhard" NBC is responsible for his high profile as it broadcasts his reality TV show The Apprentice.

"One thing's for sure though - Donald Trump is not a good loser," chuckled the New Statesman. ·

I wasn't especially thrilled with Obama's victory, not because of the man himself, but simply because I'm realistic enough to know that it really didn't matter who was going to win. However, seeing the idiot Trump frothing at the mouth and losing whatever was left of his sanity actually makes me feel a tinge of joy today.

Trump needs to play his card more carefully. He is right when he says that the USA is the laughing stock of the non-english speaking world. THe British for following is just a snigger on the end. Its the CIA who decides who is the next President and just look - Patreus is out. He obvuiously let Obama in!
