Flight MH370: search teams release images of 'mountainous' ocean floor

Three dimensional model of sea floor terrain

Some parts of Mars were better mapped than the area of seabed where flight MH370 is thought to have gone down

LAST UPDATED AT 10:41 ON Mon 29 Sep 2014

The Australian team leading the hunt for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 has released new images of the "priority" search area that show deep clefts and huge ridges that on dry land would reach higher than the European Alps.

The search team is currently carrying out an extensive sonar survey of an area in the Southern Indian Ocean in which the plane is thought to have gone down. Three-dimensional images produced during the operation show remnants of ancient volcanoes, huge peaks and 1,400-metre trenches.

Richard Westcott, the BBC's transport correspondent, says that until now "there were better maps of Mars than of this bit of the sea floor".

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau, the agency leading the search, said in a statement that the underwater survey "has revealed many of these seabed features for the first time".

The new images underline the complexity of the search for flight MH370. Since the Boeing 777 disappeared on 8 March this year with 239 people on board, 26 countries have helped with the investigation but so far nothing has been found.

The 23,000-square-mile search area was determined through analysis of a series of so-called "hello" messages sent by MH370 and received by a satellite before the plane disappeared.

Experts say that mapping the key features of the priority search area is the first step of the underwater search phase of the operation, which is due to begin next month.

Flight MH370: six months on emotions run high

08 September

Relatives of the passengers on board Malaysia Airlines' missing flight MH370 have gathered at a Beijing temple to commemorate six-months since the disappearance of the plane.

But prayers soon turned into a demonstration, with relatives demanding answers and accountability from the airline as well as the Chinese and Malaysian governments. Police reportedly attempted to disperse people, sparking a confrontation.

"Where are our children?" one woman shouted. "Mum and dad are waiting for you!" said another.

"I think Malaysia Airlines and the Malaysian government are cheating people – and while the whole world is watching, nobody will tell us anything," Dai Shuqin told The Guardian, whose sister was on the plane.

Investigators are no closer to solving "the greatest aviation mystery in recent history," the paper says, six months after flight MH370 disappeared on March 8 with 239 people on board.

At the end of this month the Dutch company Fugro will begin the next phase of the search for the missing aircraft, with officials saying they still remain "cautiously optimistic" that that the missing plane will be found.

However, not everyone shares their confidence. "We need to remember … that it took two years to find Air France flight AF447, whose last position was known with much more precision," Daniel O'Malley from the Australian Transport Safety Bureau told the Sydney Morning Herald. "We're dealing with a much more challenging set of circumstances."

Relatives have been offered $50,000 in compensation from the airline but most have refused to accept it, according to Bian Liangwei, whose brother was on board the flight. "All we care about is getting back our relatives," said Bian. "Without any proof that they're dead, we can only assume they're still alive."

Malaysia Airlines in 'bucket list' gaffe after MH370 and MH17

3 September

Malaysia Airlines has been forced to rename a new "bucket list" competition condemned as "macabre" in the wake of the MH370 and MH17 disasters.

The beleaguered airline announced last week that it would give out 12 return tickets to Malaysia to its Australian and New Zealand customers as part of a promotion entitled "My Ultimate Bucket List".

Customers were asked to tell the airline which destinations were on their bucket list, a term often used to refer to the things someone wants to do before they die – or "kick the bucket".

Critics immediately attacked the airline for the tasteless marketing ploy. Time magazine called it "macabre" and "horrific" given that 537 people lost their lives flying on the airline this year, while even the Malaysian Insider admitted it "was not exactly the best choice of words".

All 298 people on flight MH17 died when the plane was shot down on the Russian-Ukraine border on 18 July and 239 people on flight MH370 are missing and believed dead after the plane disappeared on 8 March. MH370 inexplicably vanished on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Investigators believe it went down in the Indian Ocean but no trace of the aircraft has been found.

"Malaysia Airlines has withdrawn the title of a recent competition running in Australia and New Zealand, as it is found to be inappropriate at this point in time," a statement by the airline said today. "The competition had been earlier approved as it was themed around a common phrase that is used in both countries. The airline appreciates and respects the sentiments of the public and in no way did it intend to offend any parties."

The contest has now been renamed "Win an iPad or Malaysia Airlines flight to Malaysia", with entrants invited to share their "life's ultimate to-do list".

Flight MH370 'veered off course earlier than thought'

29 August

After further analysis of satellite data, authorities searching for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 now believe the plane may have changed course earlier than had previously been thought.

As a result, they will focus their efforts on the southern part of the search area identified in the Indian Ocean.

The decision was based on refinement of satellite data relating to the final known movements of the Boeing 777 airliner, the BBC reports.

If the new analysis is correct, the final resting place for the wreckage of the MH370 may lie in a remote area of the ocean to the west of the Australian city of Perth.

The aircraft vanished with 239 people onboard while en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on 8 March. Investigators still do not know what happened to the flight, and say that finding the plane's black box recorders will be the key to understanding the aviation mystery.

In a press conference yesterday, the Australian deputy prime minister Warren Truss said that experts now believe that the jet "might have turned south a little earlier than we had previously expected".

The Dutch contractor Fugro Survey will begin a new search in three weeks using underwater vehicles equipped with side-scan sonar – a system than can create images of large areas of the sea floor – multi-beam echo sounders and video equipment to try to recover the missing plane, Truss said.

Malaysia maintains overall responsibility for the search, but Australia has taken on a practical role in coordinating the operation. China – the country that had the most citizens onboard the flight – reaffirmed that the search will "not be interrupted or given up".

Malaysia Airlines announced today that it will cut a fifth of its staff, including its chief executive, in a bid to revive the company's ailing fortunes and avert the threat of total collapse. The Malaysian government said that through its radical restructuring plan it hopes to achieve "sustained commercial viability" in four to five years.

Just goes to show how reliable ( or perhaps observant) Malaysian authorities are! What resemblance is there between Balotelli and the two Iranian men in the picture? Perhaps they had never seen the footballer!

..."not a terrorist" - well, that's all right then!

In retrospect, how can two Iranians look like Mario Berlotteli. Sounds like the US where every criminal not known is African American, and every black man is a criminal until proved that he is not. Unfortunately This is 2014. Are Iranians of Asian extraction or are they European by the way!

Hmmmm, so the plane was issuing telemetry messages for 4 hours after it vanished off the screen. That implies the plane was flying for at least 3 hours after the alarms should have gone off (OK, perhaps waiting an hour after a 200 tonne airliner "goes missing" before calling for help is excessive, but let's err on the side of caution). At that time, what were the US using their spy satellites for? I would be interested to know what the "eye in the sky" could tell us, given that they provide detail enough to positively identify much smaller items than a 777

I am confused maybe your theory sounds stupid or you are feeding the media with nothing that make know since at all , it is in my , mind that you know the source and they have a weapon that can do a lot more than you want the world to do just destroy it and take away the threat find the source and destroy it , if you this the world faith for ever do you understand , if can not do it send some one who can .

What? No UFO theory? C'mon, entirely probable.

Few important points to mention here that may help for the answers ; step by step and logical conclusion until proven otherwise :

7 hours and 31 minutes after takeoff flying confirmed by the `ping` signal from the engines detected by the satellites ; it means Boeing 777 MH370 ` used all available jet fuel to the end ` and also it flew estimated total of whopping 3500 to 3750 miles , the plane took of at 12.41 am since it changed the course deliberately to the westerly direction after the last transponder signal 01.07 am in other words roughly 45 minutes after take of changed the course to west it means roughly `6 hrs and 45 minutes of flight westward direction` with presumed average speed of 500 miles/hour and
it is roughly 3375 miles travel distance from the last detected transponder signal coordinates . The scenario is clearly a High jacked plane ; with both pilots fully coerced to cooperate initially until the plane put on auto pilot to open ocean course and than neutralization of both pilots followed by suicide flight to the end is highly probable here ; rather than one of the pilots deciding to highjack his own plane and eliminating the other pilot and deliberately killing everybody on board and himself . It is also probable a `contained` limited explosion without a major equipment damage at the cockpit and depressurization when the cabin door is fully locked and the auto pilot was set on previously to the open ocean destination also possible .

It is highly unlikely that “the huge Boing 777 size of football field ` which means easily detectable with any primitive radar` ever flew over any land mass with radar instillations nearby in close range ; since no nation`s civilian or defense radar system ever detected the plane ,- forget about any defense satellite will be aimed to the ocean territory without people or nation - so the logical conclusion is the MH370 only flew over the open ocean primarily . (So the Kazakhstan like any inland trajectory(course) mentioned some articles is highly
unlikely .)
What all means is the plain is estimated 3375 miles away from the last transponder signal `radar detected` coordinates at 1.07 a.m ; in the open ocean plunged to the bottom of the sea 6 hrs and 45 minutes later –with an empty fuel tank- probably it is close nearby to Madagascar , Seychelles and Mauritius islands where the 3375 miles is ; roughly westward and open ocean .

I'm sorry but you should edit this news. They confirmed that the last message was from the copilot, not from the captain. you gave us wrong information.

"It has also emerged that the final message from Captain Zaharie Ahmed Shah – "All right, good night" – came after the plane's ACARS reporting system, which signals its speed, altitude, position and fuel levels via satellite, was disabled."

Are you people need or have to relate anything bad happen to Islam? What a good title. 5 thumbs up!

Telemetry might not be so accurate, but... hint if the arches are closer together i.e. 8:11 , 7:11 plane is traveling along the arch. If the arches are say 500 miles apart..The plane is traveling diagonally... a little of common sense with math will narrow the search area quite a bit...

I quote from The Week article on MH370.

"THE missing Malaysia Airlines plane was diverted using a computer system that required advanced knowledge of the flight's management system, according to senior US officials."

Er. No.

Actually there are a series of excellent Youtube tutorials based on a 777 simulator Flight Management System that will give one all one needs to know to update and manage the FMS on a Boeing 777 200 Series. See X plane postings by Ramzzess on Youtube. "Advanced knowledge" not required, just a working knowledge easily obtained.

In fact, I have used the tutorials myself. Put me in the cockpit of a real Boeing 777 and I would be pretty confident that I could navigate and land that aircraft at any civilian airport within that aircraft's range.

I do concede however that it would be a whole different ball game attempting to manually land the aircraft at an unfamiliar airport without AIS approach aids. This would require some real piloting skills and flying hours on a REAL Boeing 777 IMHO.

first find out how much fuel the jet had and how far it could fly from its last transmission, then find out how much farther it can fly, when you find that out pin point that area and search in a 365 degree from that area then you will find the plain its not that hard to find with out a transponder because in the tail of the plain is a beacon and it can not be turned off it always sends out a signal

Airplanes could have marker buoys which float to the surface of the sea and are attached to parts of the wrecked plane. The attaching lines could be very strong and kilometers long.

Hi,
Flight MH370: plane 'has crashed with no survivors'. An oddity in an Odyssey. As logic indicates flying on auto pilot with an unconscious crew and possibly passengers with no possibility of landing until the fuel ran out. To find out why will be difficult but important.

1:19 final contact with air tarffic control
00:41 depart kuala lumpur for beijing
2:15 last contact with military radar.

The problem with this theory is why someone switched off the transponders and then suddenly changed course and altitude just after the crew signed off Malaysian air traffic control and before they would be expected to log on with Vietnamese air traffic control, and why radio silence was maintained after this.

The loss of all communications and transponders cannot be carried out by the auto pilot, and the pilot shouldn't turn these off, and would have to be conscious to do so. It is true that a catastrophic failure or rapidly spreading fire could have caused the simultaneous failure of lots of independent systems, but this doesn't seem to have happened since the aircraft carried on flying for at least 5 hours.

The one clear fact is that the airline industry does not take passenger safety seriously, the entire affair is like a flashback to early days of flight, what on earth has happened to technology, Google pinpoints our location to within metres but these clowns loose a whole airline, black boxes have been criticised at numerous previous inquiries but nothing has been done to improve them.

I you're going to call it a suicide mission, please correct your terminology and call it a "murder/suicide mission" because that would be the closest description to what happened. Thanks.

The plane was carrying the same kind of batteries known to have caused the crash of a UPS Boeing in Dubai in 2010. A fire of the same magnitude would have quickly caused exactly the same conditions people are blaming on the pilots - total loss of comms, changes in direction, etc.

Fire is the only rationale for taking the plane to 41,000 feet (at this level, it may have been possible to extinguish the flames by reducing oxygen in the cockpit and cabin) - and also explains the rapid decent to 12,000 ft to attempt to save the passengers by giving them access to oxygen.

As others have blogged, Langkawi was the closest best option and the crippled plane headed straight for it. But the pilots had max 20 mins of ox, and probably didn't manage to stay conscious.

At which point the autopilot disengaged and the pilots lost the fight to save the passengers.

The culprits in this? Not the pilots. The airline. They should not have been carrying volatile cargo that contravenes international norms on a passenger jet. They will win more future passengers by admitting the mistake, if this is proven to be the case, than covering things up.

You speak with an absolute positivity that only a fool would have.
Very rational minds would ask how such a severe fire as you describe would leave all the fly by wire controls and auto pilot operational for another 7 hours not to mention the structure of the airplane.
As of today nobody knows exactly who the culprits are.

> the airline industry does not take passenger safety

How about our politicians? They tried to ban these lithium batteries after they brought down a 747-400.

Then the lobbyist's spread some cash and bingo...Guess who won?

>>>Report: Lithium batteries on crashed UPS plane

Pilot unions and safety advocates are urging the government to treat air shipments of lithium batteries as hazardous materials. But rules proposed by the Obama administration are opposed by many of the nation's top retailers, electronics manufacturers, battery makers and cargo airlines, including UPS.

They say the rules would cost them hundreds of millions of dollars in added packaging, paperwork and training for employees. The rechargeable battery industry alone says the rules would cost more than $1 billion in the first year.

The makers of medical devices say the rules might mean delays in getting equipment to patients, and one electronics lobbyist even portrayed the proposal as a holiday Grinch that could drive up the cost of gift shipments.

"The cost of expedited delivery to stores could become prohibitive and could ruin a lot of Christmases for children," Christopher McLean, executive director of a retailers coalition that includes Amazon, Best Buy, Radio Shack, Target and Wal-Mart, told Transportation Department officials at a meeting earlier this year, though that's unlikely this Christmas.

Industry lobbyists say the government already has enough rules to ensure safe battery shipments; they say the problem is that a relative few shippers aren't following current packaging requirements. They recommend stronger enforcement. Indeed, many of the more than 40 documented incidents of lithium battery fires in flight or at airports involved improperly packaged or handled batteries.

George Kerchner, a lobbyist for the rechargeable battery industry, wrote Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood last month asking him not to let the Dubai crash cause regulators to rush put new rules in place.

"We urge that any actions taken by DOT be justified by facts, not speculation or political pressures

yes

>. Put me in the cockpit of a real Boeing 777 and I would be pretty confident that I could navigate and land that aircraft at any civilian airport

When I got to the airlines, flying a huge plane, it is a very odd feeling to start your flare (pulling back the nose so the rear wheels hit first) while you are still 3 stories high.

"All right, good night

Come on!
This is serious so don't be silly!
Everyone knows when the UFO's take someone it is usually from a trailer park in the Carolina's and most times it is a woman in curlers.
Lets get back to reality!

You lose credibility when you start attacking the person, rather than the argument, Chris - you're a smart guy, tell us what other scenario accounts for the push to 45,000 ft then plunge to 12,000 ft?

1) I am not sure it went to 45,000 feet

2) At one point they said it dropped 20,000 feet in 1 minute..or something ridicules like that so is the 45,000 real

3) he could have taken it there to kill everyone

4) I was a pilot for the airlines and if I had a fire I would head down and you can get down pretty fast.

Kurt Seidensticker, an aerospace engineer who says he once worked for NASA's Johnson Space Center. Seidensticker cites an FAA paper on cracking in the lap joints of the Boeing 777 and suggests that's what happened here. The cracks led to sudden cabin depressurization, leaving the pilot unconscious and the plane in a free-fall. But it didn’t immediately crash.

“As the plane descended on its own, (without auto-pilot and unconscious pilots) it would continue to pick up speed to a point where the increasing speed creates more and more lift over the wings. When more and more lift is created, this force causes the plane to pitch up. The plane may have descended to 23,000 feet before it began the pitch up maneuver. At that point, the aircraft is pitched up and begins a climb. It will continue to climb until the atmosphere becomes thinner and thinner and less and less lift is produced over the wings. This would typically occur at 45,000 feet. This roller coaster ride would continue between those two altitudes until the aircraft no longer has fuel to power the engines.”

As of today nobody knows exactly who the culprits are.

Excellent points. I'm not a pilot - have also not heard the "pitch up" without human intervention argument. Seems to make a lot of sense - you should post this in full somewhere more people will read it.

SHOCKING BACKGROUND OF MH 370-
The American is withdrawing from the Afghanistan, one of their command and control system (used for controlling the pilotless drones) was hijacked by the Talebans when the American transport convoy was moving down from one of the hill top bases. The Talebans ambushed the convoy and killed 2 American Seal personnel, seized the equipment/weapons, including the command and control system which weighed about 20 tons and packed into 6 crates. This happened about a month ago in Feb 2014.

What the Talebans want is money. They want to sell the system to the Russian or the Chinese. The Russian is too busy in Ukraine. The Chinese are hungry for the system's technology. Just imagine if the Chinese master the technology behind the command and control system, all the American drones will become useless. So the Chinese sent 8 top defense scientists to check the system and agreed to pay millions for it.

Sometime in early Mar 2014, the 8 scientists and the 6 crates made their way to Malaysia, thinking that it was the best covert way to avoid detection. The cargo was then kept in the Embassy under diplomatic protection. Meanwhile the American has engaged the assistance of Israeli intelligence, and together they are determined to intercept and recapture the cargo.

The Chinese calculated that it will be safe to transport it via civilian aircraft so as to avoid suspicion. After all the direct flight from KL to Beijing takes only 4 and half hours, and the American will not hijack or harm the civilian. So MH370 is the perfect carrier.

There are 5 American and Israeli agents onboard who are familiar with Boeing operation. The 2 "Iranians" with stolen passports could be among them.

When MH370 is about to leave the Malaysian air space and reporting to Vietnamese air control, one American AWAC jammed their signal, disabled the pilot control system and switched over to remote control mode. That was when the plane suddenly lost altitude momentarily.

How the AWAC can do it ? Remember 911 incident ? After the 911 incident, all Boeing aircraft (and possibly all Airbus) are installed with remote control system to counter terrorist hijacking. Since then all the Boeing could be remote controlled by ground control tower. The same remote control system used to control the pilotless spy aircraft and drones.

The 5 American/Israeli agents soon took over the plane, switched off the transponder and other communication system, changed course and flew westwards. They dare not fly east to Philippines or Guam because the whole South China Sea air space was covered by Chinese surveillance radar and satellite.

The Malaysian, Thai and Indian military radars actually detected the unidentified aircraft but did not react professionally.

The plane flew over North Sumatra, Anambas, South India and then landed at Maldives (some villagers saw the aircraft landing), refuelled and continued its flight to Garcia Deigo, the American Air Base in the middle of Indian Ocean. The cargo and the black box were removed. The passengers were silenced via natural means, lack of oxygen. They believe only dead person will not talk. The MH370 with dead passengers were air borne again via remote control and crashed into South Indian Ocean, make it to believe that the plane eventually ran out of fuel and crashed, and blame the defiant captain and copilot.

The American has put up a good show. First diverting all the attention and search effort in the South China Sea while the plane made their way to Indian Ocean. Then they came out with some conflicting statement and evidence to confuse the world. The Australian is the co-actor.

The amount of effort put up by China, in terms of the number of search aircraft, ships and satellites, searching first the South China Sea, then the Malacca Straits and the Indian Ocean is unprecedented. This showed that the China is very concerned, not so much abecause of the many Chinese civilian passengers, but mainly the high value cargo and its 8 top defense scientists.

I spent a lot of time at casinos. I can count cards and I go to win. I consider myself very good at odds.

If I was to set odds I would say 20% the pilot was involved nefariously.

I would put 15% on hijacking.(problem) nobody taking credit

I would put 15% on a bomb.(problem) nobody taking credit

I would put 25% on a mechanical.

I would put 25% on a cargo based fire. (your theory)

Hard to win with that isn't it? I would not bet.(I like the easy ones;)

I go to the dog track almost everynight (West Palm and Hollywood) and bet the 60 dollar "5 dog box" to win the 1/2 trifecta. (pays $40 with 3 favorites coming in 1-2-3 (you actually lose $20 bucks) but up to $400 with a semi long shot coming in 1 and 2)
I never win the real big ones as I have not bet those 3 loser dogs.

There are 8 dogs running and I don't look for the winners. I look for the 3 losers and bet the other 5. If I don't see 3 losers clearly I don't bet.
My average win on a race may be about $200 and one night I won all 13 races for a $2200 net after all expenses including dinner for 2.

Like the above with the plane, many times I only bet 30-60% of the races.
Like a child, If I don't think I can win I don't play;)

I think the plane was crashed but maybe insurance background checks on the pilots will shed light on whether they had planned it. If it was hijacked the culprits will surely have jumped off to some waiting comrades in the sea leaving the doomed craft to glide to its peril. Finding the plane itself will answer most questions but the plane must be assumed stolen until it has been located.

Fire
Asphyxiation

Are not REALLY possible given the radar evidence.

The flight Recovered from a low of 5,0000 feet after it changed direction ...the flight then rose back up to optimal fuel burn altitude as per the 777 operating manual ...and then continued flying normally for hours...and hours and hours and hours and hours .

The sudden and expert maneuvering of the plane at such high and low altitudes as per the radar data .Was not that of any machine or computer .....
.There is no precedent case in aviation law where a jet aircraft out of control has flown for so many hours , maneuvering for flight and in such a controlled manner.

It s just not ever happened...it cant happen .

The flight maneuvers used on MH370 could not of been pre programmed into the flight computer for the scheduled trip to China.
They were Hand flown by an Expert ..as evidenced by no inflight breakup of the 777 after the max climb and max descent at max G as per the radar data ...with a recovery at or below 5k ....

Shashi, that was brilliant. I think we maybe could get Bruce Wills at a good percentage. Who's going to be the girl?

First though - what evidence is there for the hijacking of the McGuffin in Afghanistan in the first place? Anyone around to vouch for it? That would have to be a lock-in. Only two Seals who were known to have been killed were killed in Seychelles in February. A long way from Afghanistan, but there are good roles for the girls they brought back to the ship.

HOW PLANE MH370 MISSED

Plane MH370 was hacked by a group of terrorists including
the pilots. It was a plot which had been
prepared carefully by an Islamic spy organizations, including Malaysian
government. All of their target is some important Chinese guests (travelers) on
the plane.

At the frontier of FIR (Flight Inform Region) between
Malaysia and Vietnam, they shut off all the signal machine then turned back to
the west. Then they flew up to the level of 13,000m to make all the guests
shock. Later they lowered the plane heading to a secret base (people of
Maldives saw the plane very close to ground). They caught some important
Chinese guests and jumped out with parachutes, after switching on the autopilot
to make the plane head south into Indian sea.

The plane flew till its fuel exhausted, fell down the sea.
All died. Only the terrorists and the Chinese victims kept alive. After
exploiting all the data from the Chinese victims, the terrorists killed them
all. The captain and vice-captain are still alive, but they may be killed one
day if the Islamic spy organization needs to keep deep secret about this
disaster.

13.7 KM up ...is where the flight maxed out .

How did the special Chinese people survive the :
".....Then they flew up to the level of 13,000m to make all the guests shock....."
when everyone else passed out ? special people ...indeed.

Islamic spy organization ??
Is that the building with the camels parked out front ?

I thought that was the UN ...
:)

Commercial pilots are trained by default to put the aircraft in a positive g climb or negative g decent if someone other flight crew is trying to enter the flight deck. The gravitational force of the climb/descent/climb/descent pins the badguys to the back of the aircraft and allows the flight crew time to start looking for a diversion airport and radio ahead.
IMHO it sounds like there was an altercation in the cabin behind the flight deck and Shah was following company procedure. If comms were being jammed this could also get the attention of atc and signal a hijacking. The 'LiPo' fire theory doesn't carry much weight in this circumstance... All Boeing aircraft send a maintenance log back to Boeing engineers in Renton EVERYTIME the aircraft lands and mh370 happend to send that maintenance data back after approx 7 hours 15 minutes of flight time.

Why aren't submarines being used to locate flight 370’s
beacon? The work day and night and don’t
care about weather. Are they not specifically
designed to listen for all sounds 24/7.

The plane was deliberately hijacked and the pilot lost bearings and direction. It could not have gone that far south into the Indian Ocean because it definitely should have moved at slower speed given the proximity to the ground. It most likely ended in the ocean around Indonesia that should be the next search site

Appreciate how you got the conversation back on topic without being mean spirited! Very funny! P.S. You look like Gene Simons in your pic (off topic again, sorry)

LOL It does..
Actually I took Al Sharptons hair from the 70's and photo shopped it on Chris Mathews

The MH 370 droped from where the signal lost.
Pls get one expert to assume 500 Km diameter of thatlocation. Let the other expert assume that the plane turn back n go to Indian Ocean.
Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam n China can assume that the plane is drop where the signal communication lost.
Pls get another team to search South China Sea before its too late to get the BLACK BOX.

PM, can u hear me?
To balance the solution, some used expert view some use layman view..
Pls.

Malaysia mahu kasi sampai boleh.
They had very high tech. resources n equipment. We go thete i feel will waste our energy if used too many ships n plane there.
Ourself can used for the starting pointwhere MH370 lost contact n drop down into that location.
Dun assume Boeing is perfect.

After so many days of search, yet to receved any proof that the expert said is acccurate.

I am sure we have resouces to search with layman view.

So, whats the different between Alright, good night and godd night malaysian 370?. Does that changed the probability where the aircraft is and make finding it more easier than now???

Maybe this case happened in 14th Aug 2005 have the same fate happened to MH 370.. Helios Airway 737-300, Grammatikos Greece. The Aircraft was on an international flight from Larnaca, Cyprus to Anthens, Greece Air traffic control lost contact with the airliner shortly after the crew reported an air con problem. Greece F16 aircraft were sent to intercept the airliner n reportedly observed at least one person who was not a flight crew member inside the cockpit.. The 1st officer appeared to be unconscious and the Capt was not seen in the cockpit. The aircraft appeared to have run out out of fuel and crashed into the mountainous area about 25 miles. (40km) from Athens, All six crews n 115 passengers were killed.. Just wondering who was not a flight crew was In the cockpit? What was he doing inside the cockpit at that particular time?? Was he a hijacker or was he a terrorist??? Why was the 1st officer fell unconscious n where was the Capt at??? The moment they encounter air conditioning problem why don't they make an emergency landing to the nearest airport??? Mysterious.........

Can it be possible that MH370 did not crashed but glided and landed on the ocean surface without breaking up?

If the plane broke up, there must be a lot of debris!!! It cannot be nothing found. The amount of debris could fill up the Southern Ocean.

If the plane was glided and landed on the ocean surface, with emptied fuel tanks, the plane could easily float for a while, even long enough for people to escape, if they were able to do so.

Absolutely! This a deliberate action from someone very knowledgeable as a pilot and in this case, it is highly likely that, someone knew exactly what he or she was doing. Could it be the pilot and his copilot or were they hijacked and told to do so.Why??? Why because important instruments on the plane were switched off and the plane changed its course and its presumably done under gunpoint as in the case of a hijack or the pilots themselves took the plane for a suicide mission.

If the black box only has a lifespan of a month; why on earth did they start the search for it just 2 days ago!!!!???? Cover up much.

Australia’s
suggestion that they have to keep looking for the pinger is ridicules. If the Ocean Shield is dragging a HIGH-TECH
pinger locator at a walking pace, and if detects a signal consistent with
flight 370…you are there. It only has a
range of two miles. Not sending down the
ROV to that four square mile area defies explanation.

Catastrophic failure is unlikely. The plane was in total control from the time it disappeared to the time it landed at a pre-determined landing site.

MH370 was probably overtaken by a military AWACS aircraft. All signals and communications would be jammed making the plane appear invisible to most radar tracking systems.

Also, MH370 has relatively advanced flight systems and was likely equipped with remote control technology (similar to that used in military drone aircraft). The pilot's controls were overridden and the plane was flown by a handler located at a remote military or intelligence facility.

China Can Prevent Future MH-370 Tragedies By Eliminating The Fear Of Liability Issue

The bandwidth of military satellite communication systems are
over ten times that the ACARS commercial system (ACARS is not a high bandwidth Sat. Com. System). The GPS system of satellites was put up by the military and resisted by the FAA & ICARO which were pushing Omega (100 times less accurate than GPS). Luckily for all involved. the Air Force was able to get GPS system funded and operational as a precision bombing system without the FAA or
ICARO help. Those AF ATC 1946 veterans using radar dramatically stopped air crashes and we can update the ATC system to a 21st century Air Traffic Control System (21CATCS) that is global in capability.

China has the technology and capability to put an end to this political problem and fix the system. The US, due to the influence of the Airlines, Aircraft Manufacturers and Pilot Associations, won't fix the dark-age killing system, because of fear of liability. They have successfully lobbied to keep the flight recorder data private. This fear has kept the safety critical Digital Flight Data Recorder, DFDR, data from being used in real-time proactively to prevent
crashes. Similar to the US, the International Air Transport
Association (IATA) hasn’t called for or allowed the DFDR data to be used in real-time also out of the fear of liability to its members. The only hope lies with China in making the DFDR public and used in real-time to proactively prevent crashes. It would allow the world to
know an aircraft’s position, velocity and heading every second. Always remember that the remote flight recorder, data streaming black box, can be used in the present autopsy mode of post-crash analysis (which is important) in order to get to crash sites quickly and to insure the integrity and availability of data (stored on the ground). But used proactively, and more importantly, it can be used to prevent fatal crashes (see: the web site Safelander). Proactive use of the DFDR can prevent the majority of fatal crashes (see: NTSB recorder symposium paper – “The Remote
Flight Recorder and Advisory System Telemetry System and Its Ability to Reduce Fatal Accidents by 78%). We owe the
fixing of the safety system to all those who have died in needless crashes that could have been prevented by proactively using the digital flight recorder
information in real-time.

Please study the script of the conversation between the MH-370 and Air Traffic Control (ATC) Malaysian.
ATC said "Malaysian Three Seven Zero contact Ho Chi Minh 120 decimal 9 Good Night".

My question is did MH-370 contact Ho Chi Minh?
If it did, ATC Malaysia would not know, becasu it is a different frequency.
So what was the conversation between MH-370 and ATC of Ho Chi Minh, if any

In any case the plane MH-370 must have been in view (radar) of the ATC of Ho Chi Minh.
So what information does ATC of Ho Chi Minh have?

By the way as I know, the Cockpit Crew first confirms/contact from the ATC ahead of it then signs from from the ATC it is leaving.

Why are the Malaysian authorities not giving details about the Radar data of ATC Malaysia, ATC Ho Chi Minh, ATC Thailand, MIlitary Radar data of Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam?

I humbly request you to also look for thr plane in Sumatra and the Ocean between Sumatra and main land Malaysia.

I have been following this from day 1 and my calculation say it might be in Sumatra and the Ocean between Sumatra and main land Malaysia.

I dont ask you to stop looking for it anywhere, but just request you to also look for it in Sumatra and the Ocean between Sumatra and main land Malaysia.

If we dont find the plane in South Indian Ocean, where will we look for it.

Kindly save this email, as if God willing I am right you will know where this thought came from.
