'Human arrow' shows the way
Police in Surrey have released video footage showing a group of children forming a "human arrow" on the ground to point authorities towards the hiding place of a robbery suspect. The sign was spotted by officers on a police helicopter, allowing them to locate the wanted man, who was found hiding at the far end of a field. The children, aged between six and 12, had been taking part in an Easter egg hunt when their activities were interrupted by the fleeing fugitives.
Carlisle coke dealer dobs himself in
A 23-year-old man from Carlisle rung police to complain about being assaulted - before telling officers that the attackers had also stolen his cocaine. Officers told Carlisle Crown Court that Daniel Barker had said he was still in possession of some of the drug, which he had elsewhere in his home. Barker was spared an immediate prison sentence after admitting two charges of supplying cocaine and one of possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
Mother 'hired stripper' for son's eight birthday
Police in Tampa, Florida, are hunting for a woman who allegedly hired a stripper to perform for her son's eighth birthday after video of the incident went viral last week. The film, which has since been deleted, shows the stripper, dressed only in her underwear, dancing around the boy while the child smacks her bottom and other party guests throw money.
