Virtual pub quiz: 15 of the hardest questions
Keep your brain sharp while staying from home
With UK pubs closed down for the foreseeable future, the traditional pub quiz briefly appeared to be under threat.
That was until Brits realised that you don’t have to be in the same room as your team and rivals to challenge yourself with some difficult questions and enjoy a few drinks.
Last week, more than 300,000 people took part in a virtual pub quiz broadcast online by a former landlord, the BBC reports.
Jay Flynn, from Lancashire, hosted the quiz through Facebook and YouTube with the aim to “lift a few local people’s spirits”.
But he said things “went a little crazy” with people from around the world taking part. “I thought I would get 30 to 40 people,” he said.
If you’ve got the patter and authority to lead a pub quiz of your own, you can set up a video call with your family friends, get a few drinks, and try the quiz below.
Think of these questions as revision for when the pubs reopen and everyone recreates the lockdown in their local.
