Get in the swim with Orlebar Brown beachwear
Wherever you plan to soak up the sun, photographic-print shorts are essential

Favoured by models, actors, A-listers and, most recently (and surprisingly), ex-prime minister David Cameron, Orlebar Brown's swim shorts are some of the coolest around. For its latest collection, the brand has taken this accolade literally, with a range depicting scenes from glamorous winter-holiday destinations.
The swimwear draws on the rich archive of images from photographer-to-the-stars Slim Aarons, whose work reflects the effortless elegance of the international jet set. The shots are from the 1960s and 1980s and depict popular resorts such as Gstaad, Kitzbuhel and Verbier.
The landscapes feature on three of the brand's signature styles: the mid-length Bulldog, the shorter Setter and the Dane – a classic board short. The attention to detail in the tailoring is what sets the swimwear apart; the structured shorts wear just as well off the beach as in the sea.
Bright and eye-catching prints are the brand's calling card, something it has capitalised on with its Design Your Own service. Here, the possibilities are limitless: for £395, you can create your own look, using a photograph of your choosing.
The company is encouraging people to share their creations on social media using the hashtag #snapshorts and with swimwear that's as Instagram-worthy as the images used to make them, the results should be fascinating.
