After a very public three-month romance, British actor Tom Hiddleston and his American pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift have reportedly broken up, triggering a range of reactions on Twitter ranging from the heartbroken to the sceptical. The couple, often referred to as "Hiddleswift", began dating in June, prompting widespread interest from the media. The split was reportedly "amicable", according to US Weekly, which suggests that media attention may have contributed to the break-up.
