At Huntsman, one of the things we're most renowned for is bespoke. When we use tweed, it's normally destined for our bespoke customers, but for this season we've created a ready-to-wear piece in the material for the first time. It's a versatile cloth that can be worn both casually and formally, so we wanted to introduce it in a younger, more accessible style.

The Machir is loosely based on a hunting jacket – it has all the same elements, but slightly pared down so it's more wearable. We've designed it with comfort and practicality in mind – pinched pleats under the half-belt at the back ensure ease of movement, while the bellows pockets allow you to carry a large amount of things inside without distorting the line of the garment.
