James Bond is no stranger to risking his treasured Aston Martin in the odd car chase, but next time he heads out on the water, it may well be his brand of choice, too. Following in the wake of Jaguar, Porsche and Bugatti, the marque has made its debut in the nautical world with the launch of two powerboats – the AM37 and AM37S.

The duo deliver on everything you'd expect – speed, innovation and style – and are the result of a collaboration with specialists Quintessence Yachts that has been two years in the making. The 37ft AM37 is a day cruiser that can double as an overnight berth, thanks to essential home comforts that include a fridge, microwave and toilet. The high-spec exterior reflects the fluid lines seen across Aston Martin's automotive designs and has a wraparound windscreen sculpted from a single piece of glass, which drapes over the boat's foredeck.
