Sport fisherman Mark "The Shark" Quartiano has made an unusual catch off the coast of Miami - 2lbs of cocaine. Quartiano, who says he's previously caught marijuana while fishing offshore, shared news of the catch on social media before reporting his find to the US Coast Guard.

Frosty the Snowman stabbed by a 'Grinch'

A man has released home security footage of a stranger stabbing an inflatable Christmas ornament on his lawn. Jeff Diggs, of Missouri, says the snowman needed nine stitches after he was attacked by a "Grinch". He has set up a GoFundMe page to "raise money for Frosty's medical expenses" - but says the money will be donated to a local children's charity.

Man delivers meth to girlfriend in hospital

Police in Florida have arrested a man who reportedly took meth to his girlfriend while she was receiving hospital treatment. Officers say nursing staff at the intensive care unit at the Bayfront Health Brooksville were alerted to the delivery when the woman started smoking the drug in bed while receiving highly flammable oxygen treatment.
