Art Dubai: The world on display

A diverse programme of exhibitions and events showcases top artistic talent from the Middle East and beyond

Art Dubai will return for its 11th edition from 15-18 March, not only championing modern and contemporary art from the Middle East, but welcoming exciting galleries from across the world.

Over the four days, more than 90 galleries from 43 countries will gather at the Madinat Jumeirah for what is one of the foremost cultural showcases in the region, and an indicator of the artists and trends to look out for throughout the coming year.

Contemporary art is one of the cornerstones of the fair, and this edition will see 78 galleries displaying both solo and multi-artist shows. The regional scene is well represented, including galleries such as Chatterjee & Lal in Mumbai, Gypsum Gallery in Cairo and Ab-Anbar and the Mohsen Gallery from Tehran. In addition to a strong presence from Europe and North America - counting among them London's Victoria Miro, New York's Marianne Boesky Gallery and Berlin's Carlier Gebauer – Art Dubai’s global reach also extends further afield. This year sees its largest representation of galleries from South America, with many attending for the first time, from Revolver Galeria in Lima to Vermelho in Sao Paulo.
