World beater: Jaguar takes on the Porsche Macan Turbo with F-Pace SVR

It boasts a supercar-derived 542bhp V8 engine - but is it a match for the king of performance SUVs?

Jaguar’s first entry into the SUV market has been a major hit with critics and car buyers alike since arriving on the scene in 2016. Praised for its sharp looks and luxurious interior, the F-Pace quickly became a key competitor for arguably the best mid-size crossover on the market - the Porsche Macan.

But for the F-Pace to truly rival the Porsche SUV, Jaguar needed to produce a performance version to take on the supercar-rivalling Macan Turbo.
