Princess Charlotte to be bridesmaid at royal wedding - three years in pictures
Fourth in line to the throne to walk down the aisle on Harry and Meghan’s big day
Princess Charlotte will be one of six young bridesmaids to walk down the aisle at the wedding of her uncle, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle on Saturday.
Kensington Palace has said that Charlotte’s elder brother, Prince George, will also be a page boy, although, “so far, the details of the bridesmaids’ dresses and the page boys’ uniforms remain under wraps”, reports the BBC.
The wedding will top off a memorable month for the fourth in line to the throne. Following the birth of her younger brother, Prince Louis, in April, Charlotte celebrated her third birthday on 2 May, with her parents Prince William and Kate Middleton also marking their seventh wedding anniversary on 29 April.
The prince and princess will be joined by three of Prince Harry’s godchildren: three-year-old Florence van Cutsem, two-year-old Zalie Warren and six-year-old Jasper Dyer. Meghan Markle’s godchildren, Remi Litt, six, and Rylan, seven, as well as the children of one of her best friends, Jessica Mulroney, the daughter-in-law of former Canadian prime minister, Brian Mulroney, will also have starring roles on the big day.
Charlotte, who was born on 2 May 2015 in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington - the same place as both of her brothers - now attends Willcocks Nursery School, in Kensington.
