Euro 2020 group E: teams, fixtures and final squads

Spain are joined in the group by Sweden, Poland and Slovakia

Spain will go into the Euros as favourites to win group E, but could face a tricky challenge from Sweden, Poland and Slovakia.

Luis Enrique announced his 24-man Spanish squad on 24 May and there was no place for Sergio Ramos or any player from Real Madrid. When asked why he selected 24 players instead of 26, he said: “We don’t want to take any more because we want everyone to have a chance of playing, and we know that only around 18 or 19 will actually play.”

Group E matches will be held at La Cartuja in Seville, Spain, and the Krestovsky Stadium in St Petersburg, Russia. The action kicks off on 14 June with Poland vs. Slovakia and Spain vs. Sweden.
