The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) has unveiled the nominees for its 2019 film awards.

The Favourite, a darkly comic take on rivalry in the 18th-century court of Queen Anne, emerges as the academy’s own favourite, leading the pack with 12 nominations - five more than its closest rival, Neil Armstrong biopic First Man.
