Ariana Grande calls out ‘lying’ Grammy Awards chief on Twitter

Pop star disputes claim she withdrew from upcoming ceremony after struggling to ‘pull something together’

US pop star Ariana Grande has publicly accused the chief organiser of the Grammy Awards of lying about the reason for her absence from this year’s ceremony.

Producer Ken Ehrlich told the Associated Press that Grande had cancelled her performance at the awards show this Sunday because she “felt it was too late for her to pull something together”.
